Hey Everybody, Today I saw an ad on MSN about "wedding website's" that made me think.
This is how it read, "A Slate writer vents about adoring engaged couples and their 'narcissistic' wedding Web sites."
I said "narcissistic wedding websites?" That is a hater if I ever heard one! Your wedding day is the one day that it is supposed to be all about you and yours. One of the happiest days of your life! That would only appear "narcissistic" to someone that hates their life or themselves.
It's always the excuse of people with low self esteem that you are being "full of yourself" if you simply are comfortable in your own skin. In a world that twitters, watches TMZ, and creates 2nd life websites it's obvious a large number of people want to be someone else. Sure I wish I had more money, lived in a paradise like Bermuda, or had exotic cars... but I NEVER wish I was someone else with those things. I love me... hair, eyes, body, personality, talent, dick size, etc.
So I never feel any way when someone loves themselves as much because it couldn't possibly be more. What's your opinion? How do you feel about people that hate on another person because they have self love? Share your thoughts.

I like to see people that are comfortable being themselves. It is a turn off to see someone pretending to be someone else... At times I am quiet and othere times I want my voice heard, but in either of my feelings I want to be me. I wouldn't hate on you because you have things that I like or want, it just lets me know that it is attainable. I think we are all capable of making our dreams come true. That said I think people who have succeeded have a responsbility to inspire others and/or direct others to reach their dreams.
ReplyDeleteAs always my Grown friend, you hit the nail on the head. You must first love yourself before you decide to love another. Misery loves company and no one should ever be able to take away one of the happiest days of your life. Life is what you make it, and if your life is not what you want than its up to YOU to change it. But don't try to mess up someone else's. I have haters in my very own family, but if I was to let every remark, foul word, bad energy etc ruin my life I wouldn't be here now. You have to use the hate as a step stool to your success and happiness.
